US Citizenship Test - are you all good little Adolfs?

I love this scene from one of my favorite movies....Stalag 17.

I came across this test today. I thought in general it was very easy. Either I have just taken my lifelong indoctrination for granted, or the fact that I did minor in History and Political Science at University also has something to do with it.

I did make a few educated guesses - I honestly did not know who the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court currently is, but I knew the 2 that were not and just had a 50/50 shot after that. The one that I did miss - my guess on who was one of the writers of the 'Federalist Papers'.

I would like to get a hold of the Citizenship tests from the turn of the century (1900's) which I know were a bit 'slanted' and 'racist' against new immigrants and such. If anyone has information on one of those, please push me in the right direction.

Dear Me, the Sky is Falling...

It is nice to see the David Letterman at least still has some professionalism and is not totally drinking the Kool Aid and ignoring facts.

As always, it goes both ways, but it is amazing how the current President is allowed to blatantly lie without any media follow-up and fact checking. I would not complain so much if it was not heaped on the contender by these same 'un-biased' media.

As always, it comes down to each person wading through the lies and mis-truths from both sides to make an informed decision. The problem is, the lies and mis-truths or more supported by 90% of the media outlets for one side over the other.

Mr Letterman at least has been smacked in the face with reality, and he is smart enough to realize it.

Happy Birthday Ash!

One week late, but the 'Ashie Boy' turned 12 this year...

Still missing Mojo, I am sure :(

Yes - I know what the AD&D actually means in regards to my Life Insurance Policy...it just struck me as funny.

It would actually be a fairly large AD&D budget for me :)

I watch a lot of television. A LOT of television.

One show that has always been and will always be my favorite is Cheers. From my days in Jr High and High School, watching from home, to my first few years in college with only a black and white TV and no cable, to the re-runs that were so blessedly run on Nick at Nite about 10 years ago where they were shown in order every weeknight...

Need to stop and get this magazine today.
