Paul McCartney - Live in Detroit - July 24, 2011

This may have been the best live show I have ever seen...blown away by Paul's performance and how tight his band was.

We got our tickets late, so we were in the obstructed view section (last lower section on the left). We were in the 3rd row and had the video screens right in front of us. We just could not see the background/drummer/keyboardist/or when Paul was playing his piano - we could only see the front of stage.

But - our tickets were only $60 each :) and we had a perfect view of the fireworks during 'Live and Let Die'.

Here is a link to the SET LIST for the night.

While we did not take any of these videos, these are some good highlights from the show:

Live and Let Die
Dance Tonight
Golden Slumbers-Carry that Weight-The End

Not too shabby for a guy that is 69 years old.

What's Going On - July Edition

It is freaking hot!!!

So - July is going to be busy.

A Dance with Dragons (Song of Ice and Fire, Book 5) is finally out - so any free time I have will be spent reading this long awaited book.

Hoping to get my house fixed (finally) and back to living under my own roof. Once the repairs are done, I will post pics from the entire adventure from start to finish.

Just got back from Punderson Manor, a state park in Ohio where we spent the weekend with my sister and her family. Will be getting a posting of this past weekend up soon with some pictures as well.

Stay Frosty!

So - after a wonderful weekend at the Troll Hoot, followed by a wonderful weekend at Origins and meeting Ken St Andre of T&T fame...I am now a member of the Trollgod's Trollhalla website.

All of my recent past worries about being more driven to development my AGOT stuff as opposed to my T&T stuff are now quickly fading as I have become quite addicted to the Trollhalla experience, and the wealth of T&T minds and resources now at my fingertips.

I have even started my first ever serious attempt at prose...I will keep you informed on that status.

In the meantime, my solo and gm adventure in Thryis are starting to take shape in my head and on my computer, so I hope to have some positive results in the coming months.
