Honor Flight

2 years ago I volunteered for Honor Flight - I was a guardian on one trip, and I drove some WWII veterans to and from their flight days as well throughout the summer.

This year, I am fortunate enough again to have the opportunity to go to DC - escorting veterans to see the monument built in their honor.

For more information: Honor Flight NWO

We will be escorting 80 veterans to see the WWII, Korean, Vietnam, Air Force, and Marine Corps Memorials, and then to Arlington to see the Hallowed Ground and the Tomb of the Unknown.

I am honored that I am able to give back to these veterans that deserve so much more than we can ever give them.

God Bless them all!

A Game of Thrones

If you have not seen the HBO series, it has been nothing short of amazing. This may be the first time that I am actually impressed by a book to TV/Movie adaptation. It is an amazing concept to use the source material and actually not try to change it. What has been added are more behind the scenes things that come out in the thoughts of the characters since everything in the books are 1st person accounts.

I just finished the 4th book in the series (A Feast for Crows), so now I am ready to go for July 12 when the much anticipated Book 5 (A Dance with Dragons) finally goes on sale.

I have been doing alot of work on my Game of Thrones RPG for Gen Con - coming up in August. Click here to check out my blog site for that campaign.

Tunnels and Trolls for the upcoming Troll Hoot you ask? Good question...
