When getting ready to leave, Ash was not too happy - he tried to trap Liam's buddy 'Junior' to prevent our departure.
I have not really done too much traveling over the years. The one thing that does seem to be consistent from tourist town to tourist town though are the crazy gift shops selling the same old junk. From the Badlands (SD) to Gettysburg to Hocking Hills to Niagara Falls - every gift shop has about the same stock of crappy stuffed animals and nick-knacks that really have nothing to do with the place you are visiting.
The Falls in early Spring was still nice to see. Notice the snow and ice in the foreground that has still not melted yet.
Old Fort Niagara
We also visited Fort Niagara which I was looking forward to, but was not expecting as much enthusiasm from the kids (well - at least baby girl, I knew the boy would like it since he enjoys Fort Meigs in Toledo). Irelynn was so excited, we almost lost site of her.
Looking North towards the lake, the 'French Castle' still sits on the grounds where it was originally built around the time of the French and Indian War.
